The film "The Last Step" starring the famous actor Jean Reno was filmed in Transcarpathia. Despite the severe frosts, the actors filmed a story about a lone killer against the backdrop of the snowy Carpathians. According to the plot, Reno plays a famous "retired" killer in this film, who is hiding on the shore of a small remote lake in Canada.
Here he meets a girl who was injured after an unsuccessful snowmobile ride, he gives her shelter in his chalet. It turns out that a man who has been killing all his life saves a life for the first time. Our team prepared and developed stunt scenes, one of which is an accident on a snowmobile. Preparations began in Kyiv with Sarah Lind's stunt double, Anna Vlasova, and the filming itself took place in the Carpathians.
